Jon Shaw told the Greeley Tribune that his 15-year tenure as the owner of The Original Roma Restaurant is coming to an end. Shaw is selling the building, the brand and retiring from the restaurant business.

Shaw is selling the building and the Roma brand together. The next owners of the building can choose to keep the brand in place, or completely change it. Shaw says it's up to them. The building has been standing since 1920 with Roma's occupying it since 1988.

The Original Roma building and brand is on the market for $498,000.

"Though The Original Roma is exploring a sale, there are no current plans to close the doors," Shaw said in an email. "A potential sale could take a year, and if that happens the new owner may do something different than operate Roma."
