Let me start off by saying this: I don't hate Denver. In fact, I really like visiting there and hanging out there because there is a ton of stuff to do and we always have a blast when we go there for a ball game, concert, bring the family to Elitch Gardens or Water World etc. But I will say that when I return to Northern Colorado, I can breath a sigh of relief and truly appreciate living here even more.

I often hear people complaining (I'm guilty of it too sometimes) about living in Fort Collins or Northern Colorado in general because of "issues and inconveniences" but after spending a lot of time down in the Mile High City over the past few weeks, I have a whole new appreciation for living in Northern Colorado.

Sometimes in order to truly appreciate a place, you need to leave it for a while to realize just how good we have it here and sure, there are issues that we have to deal with here in Northern Colorado but when it comes to quality of life, in the grand scheme of things, we have it pretty darn good here in Northern Colorado.
