And You Thought the Housing Market in Northern Colorado Was Bad
Colorado is an expensive place to live when it comes to property compared to other parts of the nation, there is no doubt about it. According to Zilliow, the median home price in Fort Collins is $313,400, Loveland's median is$ 273,000 and Greeley comes in at $202,000. A home is an investment, and an expensive one at that! Not only that, it is a place to make memories and a family. Some of us would like to walk in right after closing and begin to unpack our stuff and make the place our own. Others do a bit of remodeling that will fit into our budget. But, would you drop nearly a half of a million dollars on a place only to remodel or better yet level a the current home and start all over again? if you are in the latter of those, you should check this place out!
This listing for a home in the Los Angeles metro area that is currently on the market for $475,000... Yes, almost a half a million dollars and being sold in "AS IS" condition to cash buyers.
Seems like a nice abode, right?
Nope, wouldn't park my car in here...
Oh, look! It's got a nice backyard that just needs a little TLC!
Isn't this where they filmed one of those Saw movies?
That green and those custom tinted windows though!
Cobwebs and stained walls anyone? On the positive side, you have planned locations as to where you can put your picture frames.
I feel like I have seen this scene before in a bad dream... or a horror movie.
A fresh coat of paint should do the trick!
The kitchen could probably use a bit of updating...
Think of all of the gourmet meals you could make on that stove top!
The realtor describes the home in the listing as a contractors special and a flippers fantasy. The 3 bedroom 2 bath 1276 square foot home on .17 of an acre is also described as the worst home in the best neighborhood.
Maybe if I had the money to tear it down and start fresh I'd totally consider it. But I don't and I am quite content with living in beautiful Northern Colorado.
