But Animal Planet wasn't done with Colorado after finding a team member for the Dog Bowl; they also selected a puppy from Colorado to appear in the Puppy Bowl XVI.
Aspen, a 22-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel mix was selected from the Berthoud's Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue to play on team Ruff in the Puppy Bowl XVI.
Puppy Bowl XVI airs Sunday, Feb. 2.
Animal Planet expects 96 dogs to find homes from the 61 shelters that sent dogs to the dog and puppy bowl teams.
