Just a little family outing at Crater of Diamonds State Park, where you just never know what might turn up. How about a 2.63-carat diamond? In no time at all!

The 71-year-old grandmother was visiting the park on September 25, 2018, with her son and grandchildren while walking and searching for ONLY TEN MINUTES, she came upon the 2/.63-carat diamond. 'About the size of a pinto bean,' according to the press release.

This was the largest diamond found so far this year at the park, where since it's opening over 75,000 diamonds have been found.

They did not have an immediate value of the diamond, but it has to be way more than just a couple of dollars, right?

Good for you, Grandma!
