So she is close to if not the most popular thing in music today, and not that we would claim to like her music we can proudly say we like to watch Katy Perry perform it! We would really prefer her to perform it wearing less, but while take what we can get. Today you get Katy as the Rock 102.9 Babe of the Day!

As Katy Hudson, she released a self-titled gospel album in 2001, which was unsuccessful. Then she decided to go pop, and what a decision it was! Perry is the first female artist to get five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in one year. Perry's first mainstream studio album One of the Boys followed later that year and subsequently became the 33rd-best selling album worldwide of 2008. Her 2nd album went easily to #1 and Perry became the first artist in history to spend 52 consecutive weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
