Bear Lake Road Reopens in Rocky Mountain National Park
Areas of Rocky Mountain National Park are reopening post-wildfires, slowly but surely.
It was announced Thursday (Nov. 19) in a press release that Bear Lake Road, after being closed for several weeks, has officially reopened. While several trails west of the road remain closed, all areas and trails east have reopened as well.
You can also expect closures for Upper Beaver Meadows Road, the North Boundary Trail, the North Fork Trail, Mummy Pass, Stormy Pass, Commanche Peak, and Mirror Lake Trails. However, rangers encourage you to be wary of falling trees in the area.
