Settled in the mid-1800s, Georgetown, Colorado was once a major mining hub, after gold and silver were discovered to be in the area.

During this time, the town also became one of the top vacation destinations in America, with people wanting to experience the Western frontier.

Now, more than 150 years later, the town has certainly changed, but much of its western history still remains. It continues to attract tourists from all over the world, and offers quaint places to stay, like this historic cottage.
