A huge congrats is in order for Denver Broncos Rookie, Pat Surtain II, as he was named AFC Defensive Player of the week.

If you watched the Denver Broncos vs. the Los Angeles Chargers game this past Sunday, you no doubt saw Pat Surtain show up in his biggest NFL performance to date! Getting an interception in the NFL is no easy task. Getting two in one game is fairly rare. Getting two and having one of them be a "pick six" and scoring a touchdown is even trickier. That though is the kind of Defensive Player we have in Pat Surtain II. Or as he's been nicknamed PS2. Here's that sweet "pick six" play from Sunday's game!

The Denver Broncos drafted Pat Surtain II in the first round with the 9th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft. They picked him at number nine with some criticism that the Denver Broncos GM and staff involved in the pick didn't fill the main need that in many eyes the team needed, a Quarterback. The Broncos chose Pat Surtain over two top QB candidates including Mac Jones who's now flourishing with the New England Patriots. Broncos' Head Coach, Vic Fangio, said given the opportunity to pick again, he'd keep it exactly as it happened with the number nine draft pick going to Pat Surtain. They say "defense wins championships" and the Denver Broncos learned just that in the Super Bowl 50 season. That defense will go down as one of the best units in NFL History and the "No Fly Zone" will always be a group of guys that Broncos fans won't ever forget.

Fun fact about Pat Surtain II, his father, Pat Surtain Sr. above. How crazy is that? Welcome to Broncos Country, PS2, Go Broncos.

Here's a new place to get snacks while you watch the Broncos. Jersey Mike's In Firestone is now open!
