A 14-year-old girl and her mother had a scary encounter with a bull elk on Wednesday when it attacked their Subaru.

Hannah Beese, 14, and her mother noticed a heard of elk as they were driving in Evergreen on Wednesday. Hannah quickly pulled out her phone and began taking a video on her cell phone. Her mother, Denise Beese, slowed down so that Hannah could get a better shot of the incredible animals.

Within seconds, a bull elk lowered his head and rammed the side of the Subaru. Hannah was so startled that she dropped her phone. Then, the elk moved around to the back of the car and left holes in the bumper.
