It would have been hard to believe last October that the Tennessee Titans would go on to play in the AFC Championship game.

The Denver Broncos dominated in a 16-0 shutout over the visiting Titans during an Oct. 13 week 6 match-up. Eventual NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry was held to 28 yards on 15 carries. Tennessee starter Marcus Mariota was benched mid-game for Ryan Tannehill, who failed to lead a comeback but would spark Tennessee the rest of the way.

Now the Broncos host the Titans to kick off the 2020 season at 8:20 p.m. on Monday Night Football (Sept. 14).

Denver is likely to be without star edge rusher Von Miller but bring in optimism with renewed weapons on offense for starter Drew Lock — who went 4-1 as a starter to finish the 2019 season.

The Broncos might also get some insight from new defensive lineman Jurrel Casey, who spent the last nine seasons with Tennessee before being traded to Denver this offseason.
