It would appear the suspect was fleeing from authorities but had to pull over for some rest, where he was apprehended.

The Reporter-Herald has the story on how on Tuesday (February 26, 2019) night at around 8 p.m., Andrew Steplock was apprehended at Love's Travel Stop at I-25 and Highway 56.

Steplock, according to the Casper Star-Tribune, is wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of his mother in Casper on early Tuesday morning (around 1 a.m.)

The Trib reports that Steplock was arrested last week in charges related to marijuana possession, but police have no motives as to why he may have shot his mother.
