On Mother's Day, this establishment was jam-packed. Social media was jam-packed with comments about the restaurant, too. Governor Polis and the state have since shut down the restaurant that fully opened this past weekend.

C&C Coffee and Korean Kitchen in Castle Rock was open for dine-in on Mother's Day, with hundreds of people showing up. It caused quite a stir, with both supporters and those protesting the restaurant's decision in defying the state order.

During his press conference on Monday, May 11, Governor Jared Polis announced that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, along with the State of Colorado, have suspended C&C's license.

The suspension of their license is indefinite but could be reviewed in 30 days, according to the Governor.
