Get ready to raise a glass, because the Poudre Heritage Alliance (PHA) is bringing the 4th Annual Poudre Pour to Windsor on September 25.

Located in Boardwalk Park, the event will feature an array of local craft beer tastings, gourmet appetizer pairings, family-friendly activities, live music, and more — all to recognize the importance of the Cache la Poudre River.

"It is a family-friendly, educational event that celebrates the bounty of the river and everything it provides our communities," said event coordinator Beth Bullard in our "Tuned In to NoCo" interview. "Along with those beer tastings, we'll have a chef-prepared food item that matches and has actually been made from the beer and the water that comes from the Poudre River."

The event will also have educational cabins and expert panels to teach guests about the Poudre River's impact in Northern Colorado.

"The Poudre River is used for many different things...whether it's industry, agriculture, recreational, or even just the beauty of nature around it," said Kathleen Benedict, Executive Director of the PHA. "It can work for all of us together if we are aware that it has these different uses and all these different important items."

Proceeds from the event will benefit the PHA, so that the non-profit can continue its mission of promoting learning, preservation, and stewardship within the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area.

General admission and non-alcoholic admission tickets for the event are on sale now here. Children aged 16 and under can attend for free.
