The City of Fort Collins is trying to make life a little easier for drivers in Old Town in an attempt to assist in the City's economic recovery.

According to a press release, you can now park in city structures for up to three hours for free (although you'll still have to "initiate a session"). Any longer, and the charge will be $1 per hour for "Firehouse Alley, Old Town, and Civic Center parking structures".

The City recognizes that many downtown spots have been taken up by curbside pickup spots or to-go spaces for restaurants, and some are even being used for outdoor dining. Because of that, Fort Collins is trying to make hanging out in Old Town a little more manageable.
