Colorado Couture: The Most Popular Designer Brands in the State
Trendy places like New York and Los Angeles are known for being fashion-forward and offer plenty of boutiques and stores to shop for designer brands. While Colorado might not be recognized as a fashion mecca like some of these other locations, shoppers in the Centennial State are still in the market for luxury and designer brands.
A new study by the online art gallery, SINGULART revealed which luxury brands are the most loved in every state across the country, including Colorado. To collect their data, SINGULART reviewed the annual Google search volumes for 42 luxury designer brands between 2018 to 2021. They used this information to discover how many searches per brand increased over this specific time period.
Louis Vuitton was named the number one luxury brand in every single state. The French-based brand had the highest increase in searches, with a total uptick of 21,011,700 searches from 2018 to 2021.
SINGULART broke the data down even further to reveal other popular brands on a state-by-state basis.
As for Colorado, the most loved designer brand proved to be Dior. The French fashion house experienced a 53,800 surge in the number of searches in the Centennial State during the four-year period. The study showed that Dior is a favorite across the rest of America too, with 62 percent of the states searching for the luxury brand more than any other.
The other designer brands to top Colorado's list of favorites include Chanel, with a 52,000 increase in searches, as well as Hermes, and Burberry.
According to Forbes, Denver Fashion Week is one of the country's fastest-growing fashion platforms.
