After a first round loss to the Condors on Saturday night, the Colorado Eagles have been eliminated from the playoffs. They lost to the game 4-2 in Game 4 of the series.

TheAHL.com is reporting that the Eagles took advantage of offensive opportunities, with Martin Kaut scoring two goals early. They were also playing extremely physical hockey, knocking Condors center Cooper Marody out of the game. When the third period started the Eagles had the lead 2-1.

The Condors fought back in the third period with three straight goals and an empty-netter to advance them to the second round of the AHL playoffs.

This is their first year in the American Hockey League after winning the ECHL title a year ago.
