Colorado Man Catches Record-Breaking Trout (PHOTOS)

A Colorado man was fishing in Utah when he got a big one on his line. Last month, Matt Smiley, of Fairplay Co., caught a 48 inch record-breaking trout at the Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

After a quick photo-shoot, he released the monster back into the reservoir. In a Facebook post (see below) the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources confirmed that Smiley had set a new catch-and-release record for lake trout.
