Northern Colorado School & Business Closures Due to Flooding [UPDATED: 6:17 PM Wednesday]

The torrential rains have wreaked havoc in Northern Colorado and some businesses and schools have closed due to the flood water. We have compiled a list of business and school closures below...

• The Following Schools Are CLOSED

• Cache La Poudre Elementary IS OPEN

• Big Thompson Elementary IS OPEN (Click Here For Important Bus Info)

• Weld RE-7 (Platte Valley) Will re-open Thursday the 19th

• All St Vrain Valley Schools will re-open on Thursday the 19th with the exception of Lyons Elementary and Lyons Middle/Senior

• Lyons Elementary School and Lyons Middle/Senior High School will reopen on a staggered schedule the week of Monday, September 23rd at the Old Longmont High Building at 820 Main St. in Longmont.

• All Valley RE-1 Schools (Sterling) Closed till Monday September 23rd. All after school sports and other student activities are also cancelled
