College players began being allowed to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) in June of 2021. A player for CU is cashing in on...underwear.

For too long, the NCAA kept players from getting any kind of compensation while playing for their colleges. It's good to see that that rule was eliminated, opening up all sorts of avenues for players to endorse products and get paid.

Tommy Brown is an offensive tackle or the Colorado Buffaloes, a grad student transfer from Alabama who joined the Buffs in the spring of 2021. His Crimson Tide career included that team winning the National Championship in 2020. Brown is a great addition to the Buffs.

Brown is also a great addition to the roster of endorsers for underwear company, Shinesty. The team at Shinesty do not take themselves seriously, at all. They pride themselves as selling 'wearable aphrodisiacs.' Enough said.

They a wide-range of underwear, pajamas and comfort wear for men and women; as well as numerous other things like grooming items and 'Crazy Party Suits.' These all seem like items directed towards the college-aged crowd, so why not get a college football player to endorse them?

Tommy recently posted on his Twitter account photos from his photo shoot for Shinesty. He posted four photos of himself in Shinesty underwear; two while doing manly things, two while doing.. ballet. College kids, am I right?

It sure looks like he had a blast doing the photos, and why not- he got paid a sizable amount to do so. I know that I had never heard of Shinesty before Brown did these photos, so the advertising is already working.

Nice job, Tommy.
