This season has been another frustrating one for the Colorado State Rams football team and a 2-5 record is not even close to where this team wants to be or believes it should be and over the past 3 weeks, they've been trying real hard to do something about it and have played with a renewed spark in each of those games, especially on the defensive side of the football and with one young man on the offensive side of the ball who has dominated the past 3 games.

This week's player of the game is running back Avery Morrow who burst on to the scene in Colorado State's first win of the season in Nevada where he rushed for over 150 yards just looked like a man amongst boys on the field.

That was the case again this past weekend as the Rams beat Hawaii 17-13 with Morrow accounting for both touchdowns, the last of which came on a 10 yard run with just a couple of minutes left in the game.

Avery Morrow, a junior from Seattle, Washington was one of Coach Jay Norvell's transfers from Nevada, played sparingly in the season's first few games before his breakout game against his old team in Nevada and hasn't slowed down since and that's been a huge lift to this CSU offense that other than Morrow has been less than stellar.

So congratulations and major props to this bruising runner on this performance and to the Rams for fighting to the end in the win this past weekend against Hawaii.

Next up for the Rams, a road test this weekend against Boise State and as always, you can catch all of the action all season long on your home for CSU Rams football, K99.
