Denver Broncos Adds OL Glasgow on $44 Million Deal
The Denver Broncos first move in free agency will be to bulk up their offensive line.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Broncos signed the former versatile Detroit Lions player who has lined up at left guard, center and right guard. The deal can become official on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old Glasgow has started 31 of 32 games for the Lions in the past two seasons — during that stretch he's allowed just one sack.
The former third-round pick out of Michigan is listed at 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds.
Denver has also hired new offensive coordinator Pat Shumur and traded for Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback A.J. Bouye this offseason.
With about $63 million in cap space heading into free agency, the Broncos have plenty of room to make other moves to bolster the roster in head coach Vic Fangio's second season.
