Following in accordance with CDC guidelines and public health concerns, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts will require all guests 12 years and older to be fully vaccinated before attending events.

Starting Oct. 1, anyone 12 and older will have to have completed their full dosage two weeks before an event. Any children who are younger than 12 have to provide a negative COVID test that was taken within 72 hours of the start of the event. Or, they can present a negative COVID-19 antigen test within six hours of the start time of the performance.

According to the new vaccine and mask policies from the Denver Center, anyone who has tickets and can't comply with the new policies will not be allowed to attend the event. Those individuals will be eligible for a refund, can take credit to their account for the ticket value, or can donate the value of the tickets.

The new policy will apply to events in Boettcher Concert Hall, Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the Buell, Garner Galleria, Wolf, Kilstrom, Singleton and Jones theatres.

Regardless of vaccination status, all patrons two years and older will also be required to wear masks. The only time masks are not required is when audience members are either eating or drinking in designated areas. Food and drinks will not be allowed inside the theatre.

The Center also reminds guests to take precautions if they are experiencing any symptoms similar to COVID-19 symptoms. Guests are welcome to call the box office if they are unable to make a performance and request a ticket exchange or account credit.

In addition to guests, all staff, volunteers, and contractors have also been required to get vaccinated. They will, however, be allowing full capacity for performances. They encourage social distancing while waiting to enter the theatre.
