If you've been to DIA recently, you are almost guaranteed to be a bit frustrated when it comes time to take a trip through TSA. Less than 2 weeks ago I was taking an early morning flight to Jacksonville. The only thing I was carrying was my backpack. So an hour and twenty minutes to get through TSA, take the train to the concourse and hop on the plane should be enough right? Let's just say that I was the very last person boarding the plane. Why did it take so long? Well, because TSA thought it would be more than sufficient to have only a few security lanes open for a pretty long line of travelers. That could be one of the key factors when it comes to DIA making it on a list of the WORST airports. DIA was ranked the 8th worst by ThePointsGuy.com.

Aside from the long lines at Denver International Airport, I quite enjoy the place to be totally honest. I could spend more time exploring the concourses, the terminal and all the other amenities that our airport has to offer if I didn't have to spend so much time in the security lines. This problem could be easily alleviated by simply opening a few more lines. It would make a world of a difference for travelers and a much more enjoyable experience.
