Fatal Accident Stops Train for Hours in Fort Collins

Traffic was stopped for hours in Fort Collins on Thursday (Feb. 7) afternoon and into the evening following a fatal accident that stopped a train on Mason Street.

At 6 p.m. on Thursday, the train was still at a standstill on Mason Street, blocking east and westbound traffic from Magnolia to Prospect. According to Fort Collins Police Services, just before 3 p.m., a pedestrian was struck at the Mulberry and Mason intersection.
