Former CSU Star Becky Hammon Up For Indiana Pacers Head Coaching Job
If you're a basketball fan, you know Becky Hammon.
As a part of the class of 1999, she was a three-time all-american at Colorado State University on the women's basketball team. In fact, according to the CSU Athletics website, she's the most decorated CSU women’s basketball player in school history. She's also the only women's basketball player to have her number retired at CSU.
Becky Hammon has obviously gone on to do incredible things in the world of sports, and her latest achievement is that she's a top pick for head coach of the Indiana Pacers.
She is one of a dozen candidates, but it's a huge deal: she's the first female full-time NBA coach, and the fact that she's up for this national position is history in the making.
Hammon is my hero, and she should be yours, too. Learn more about the decision on ESPN.com, right here.
