The oldest operating restaurant in Fort Collins is temporarily closing its doors because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Silver Grill Cafe in Old Town, which has operated under the name since 1933, has decided it's time to close the doors until things are safe again.

That means you'll have to get your giant cinnamon roll fix elsewhere.

Silver Grill started out the crisis by maintaining their services through takeout and delivering meals on rickshaw. But now, they'll take a different route, as the eatery announced on their Facebook page:

It is with heavy hearts that we've decided to close Silver Grill Cafe during the remainder of the COVID-19 crisis. This includes our takeout and delivery services.

They go on to say that buying gift cards to use when this is all over is a great way to support a business that has given us so much for so long.

I, for one, will be first in line once this mess is over.
