
Fort Collins Suspect in City Park Homicide Pleads Guilty
Jeffery Etheridge has pleaded guilty to the charges of murdering Heather Hoffmann today. Hoffmann's body was found in City Park's Sheldon Lake located in Fort Collins on June 21st.

Etheridge agreed to take the guilty plea of first degree murder in order to have the other charges against him dismissed. His guilty plea also guarantees that he will not face the death penalty. Etheridge will be sentenced on February 26th and is currently in custody at Larimer County Jail. His first degree murder charge automatically brings a life sentence in prison.
