FREE: Avalanche Awareness Courses from Colorado Mountain School
This year has brought a lot of snow in Colorado, and along with it avalanches.
Backcountry skiers/riders shred through terrain where avalanches are prevalent. If you're considering trying out those slopes you might want to attend New Belgium's free Avalanche Awareness Clinic.
According to the Colorado Mountain School, every year, avalanches are one of the leading causes of death among backcountry enthusiasts.
Being prepared in the backcountry is key.
