According to the Greeley Tribune, the fire was put out quickly, though they did call in a second alarm for the fire, which brought the total number of firefighters on the scene to 26 along with four ambulances.

Three people were taken to hospitals in the area with burns; three families and one dog were displaced due to the fire. The cause of the explosion and ensuing fire are still under investigation.

I can't say that it's ever happened to me, but it must be very frustrating to have to evacuate your home, in the middle of the night, due to a neighbor's issues. This is a prime example of why renters should carry renter's insurance. A lot of landlords are now making that a requirement before renting out apartments.
