The Greeley History Museums has announced a new exhibit called “Reclaiming Our Heritage”.

The exhibit will look at the possible ways cultural groups lose heritage and how they reclaimed it.

Starting July 19 the exhibit will open at 714 Eighth Street with family photos, cultural clothing and heritage art. The exhibit will close September 22, 2019 .

According to a City of Greeley press release, based on a grant project completed by the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado and the University of Northern Colorado, the exhibit features stories from Native American, Karenni, and African American communities in the United States and Denotified Tribes and Adavasi groups in India.
