Have You Seen This Man? Home Invasion Suspect Wanted In Weld County
The Weld County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect connected to a home invasion investigation.
According to a Monday (Dec. 6) post via the Weld County Sheriff's Office official Facebook page, WCSO is working to gather information about a man who broke into a house and reportedly violent crimes with the use of a firearm.
The suspect in question, 52-year-old Carlos Alvarez of Fort Lupton is wanted for a home invasion burglary that occurred over the weekend - on Sunday, Dec. 5 - at a residence northwest of Fort Lupton.
As per the post, deputies working on this case believe the home invasion was a targeted incident and that Alvarez knew the victim.
The suspect in question is considered to be armed and dangerous at this time. Officials noted that Alvarez has ties to other areas in-state - including Fort Lupton, Brighton, Lochbuie, Severance, Pueblo, and Florida.
The Hudson Police Department currently has a warrant out for Alvarez's arrest for felony identity theft, as well as a federal warrant for receiving, possessing, or concealing stolen goods.
