Fans who attended the Rocky Mountain Showdown last week may have recognized a familiar face on field before the game – former Broncos player Champ Bailey, who showed his loyalty to the Rams by wearing a green CSU polo.

Although he did play in the same stadium for 10 seasons of his career, the former Broncos cornerback wasn't just there to reminisce. Rather, he was in attendance to cheer on his son, Keevan Bailey, who now plays for Colorado State.

Wearing #25 on his uniform, Keevan is following in the footsteps of his father, taking on the same role as cornerback, but for the Rams. Bailey committed to CSU last year, after a successful high school career in Conyers, Georgia. Other schools that offered to Bailey included Tennessee, West Virginia, South Florida, Minnesota, and Kentucky.

He's been playing football since the age of 6, and with role models like Champ, and uncle, Boss Bailey to look up to and learn from, you can bet he knows what he's doing out there. While he does have a famous father-figure in the football world, Keevan wants to be known for his own talents and abilities on the field, and doesn't want to just be referred to as "Champ Bailey's son." With the season just kicking off, the freshman player is on track to make a name for himself and start his own legacy.

Besides being skilled in football, Keevan is also incredibly smart, earning a scholarship all on his own, and studying mechanical engineering.while at CSU.
