How The Broncos Stack Up Against The Bills
After a heartbreaking loss last week in Minnesota, the Denver Broncos (3-7) once again travel to face another team in the playoff hunt in the Buffalo Bills (7-3) at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The 27-23 defeat to the Vikings was the Broncos' fifth one-score loss of the season. Who knows what the season narrative would be if Denver had been able to pull out a few of those close losses?
New Broncos starting quarterback Brandon Allen has proved to be capable — tossing 433 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in his two starts. Wide receiver Cortland Sutton's breakout has continued with 49 catches for 805 yards and four touchdowns on the season.
But now the Denver passing game will be challenged on the road facing the league's third-ranked passing defense.
On offense, Buffalo has been led by quarterback Josh Allen — the former University of Wyoming Cowboy has thrown for 13 touchdowns and rushed in seven more on the ground.
