As a certified crazy cat lady myself, one event in Denver took things to a whole different level!

Colorado Cat Fest went down in Denver on Sunday, November 9th at the National Western Complex. This was a celebration of all things feline and the people who love them!

What Is Colorado Cat Fest?

They had rows and rows of vendors, artists, and of course cats!

TICA, the International Cat Association, had a cat show going on throughout the day. Competing cats were examined and presented to see which would get the title of best in show.

It was fascinating to see all the different breeds, from the lynx cat to the adorable ragdoll. Some of the owners would actually let you pet their cats (depending on their mood).

Some people even went home with kitties! The festival also encourages people to adopt cats if you're able. There were multiple pet and cat adoption agencies/shelters at the event.

Two Cat Festivals for Colorado Cat Lovers

There are two major Cat Fests during the year in Colorado, one in the fall (Denver) and another in the spring (Colorado Springs).

New Event Coming: Cat Fest Colorado North in Loveland

However, event officials just announced that another feline themed festival will be happening next year, this time in Northern Colorado.

Cat Fest Colorado North is expected to come to Loveland on March 21st, 2026. The event will be held at the Ranch Event Complex.
