It seems like nearly every Colorado resident has a pet. What I have noticed about Coloradans, is that Coloradans care about their pets. I live in Fort Collins and I can not count how many dogs, and believe it or not cats too, in a stroller.

I have cats and I adore them. Although I refuse to put them on a leash or in a stroller, I refer to my cats as "the twins".

They are simply family. Someday I plan on getting a dog. We all know that we love and care about our pets. Is Colorado a pet-friendly state? Here is what research and data says.
