Get Ready Colorado: 7 p.m. Sunsets Are Returning Soon, Here’s When
Are you ready for more sunshine? If you live in Colorado, the answer is most likely yes. We have good news for you. Longer days are coming very soon.
Daylight Saving Time will officially begin on March 9. This means that all Colorado residents will spring forward an hour. This also means that sunset will be around 7 p.m.
Later Sunsets in Colorado
This is great. I do not know about you, but I am sick of early sunsets.
The long dark period of winter will be officially over and it will feel more like spring. Even though we will technically be in winter and will likely have more snow.
Although sunset has been later and later the past few weeks, this is going to be a nice change of pace. My girlfriend works until 6 p.m. a few nights out of the week and this provides a great opportunity for us to enjoy the outdoors before the day ends.

There are likely many families in Colorado that have the same story.
Could Daylight Saving Time Be Eliminated in Colorado?
In the next few years, Daylight Saving Time could be eliminated in Colorado and across the rest of the country.
We previously found that if that happened, the latest sunset of the year would be at 7:34 p.m. The earliest sunrise of the year would happen at 4:30 a.m.
Where do you stand on the debate? Do you believe that Daylight Saving Time still serves a purpose? Or do you think that we would benefit from getting rid of it? Send us a message on our app and let us know your thoughts.
