Apple explained that iPhone users can import their passport into their Apple Wallet by scanning their passport, the chip in the passport, and by scanning their face with head movements for identity verification. The process is very similar to the process of having a digital license plate in the state of Colorado.

What Colorado Travelers Should Know Right Now

This feature is in a very early stage right now. It is important to remind you that this is only for travelers who are within the United States. I would recommend keeping your physical passport with you just in case. This, however, is showing the next step for convenient travel.
