Want to Eat Gourmet Bugs? Here’s Your Chance in Colorado
While many of us think of bugs as creepy crawly things that are best left out of our food, you might be surprised to know that some bugs are a delicacy. There is one place in Colorado where you can really open your mind and your mouth and try a vast array of bugs for dinner.
A Bib Gourmand Michelin restaurant in Denver, Colorado, has your bug entrees for February with its Festival De Bichos 2024 menu. La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal located at 2233 Larimer Street is Denver's first Poloeria y Mezcaleria and the food looks absolutely amazing.
What kind of bugs could you eat during Festival De Bichos? Stinkbugs, flying ants, red worms, flying ant larvae, and chocolate-covered scorpions are just a few of the bugs on the list. Oh, and there is also a specialty drink on the Festival De Bichos menu that has worm salt.
