Outrage as Colorado Golfers Deliberately Shoot Balls at Elk
We are still in the middle of an elk rut, which means that elk in Colorado are more aggressive. Unfortunately, that has not stopped tourists and others from acting stupid.
Whether people are unaware of the dangers of approaching elk in Estes Park and other Colorado communities, or they simply disregard them, they are putting themselves at serious risk by doing so.
Another elk video has gone viral and for a dumb reason.
Colorado Driving Range Video Goes Viral
An Instagram page called Good Bull Outdoors posted a video of a man who was at a driving range in Colorado. The man is with a group of people. There are elk in the middle of the driving range and the man is intentionally hitting balls at the elk.
The man groans in frustration when he misses.
The person who recorded the video said, "If you want to keep at the elk, I will happily send this video to the cops".
Take a look at the video.
According to the page that posted the video, Colorado Parks and Wildlife confirmed that an investigation is taking place for wildlife harassment.
Backlash from Colorado Video
Many commenters started criticizing the page shaming the man for hitting golf balls at wildlife and called the user a Karen for being upset.
Here is what they said in response.
I don’t really care how many people call me a Karen. I’m a wildlife photographer and I care about wildlife. Those who don’t hunt don’t understand how we can both hunt AND care about wildlife and will never understand it because you’re so far removed from where your food comes from. - @goodbulloutdoors
