In a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, on September 9th, 2025 LCSO deputies discovered a gruesome sight in Pinewood Springs.

Bodies Found Inside Deer Lane Home

Reportedly, these officers arrived at the home on Deer Lane and found a deceased man and woman. The initial call came from an individual after visiting the residents of the home.

Officials claim that there is no threat to the community.

While there are not too many public details yet, we do know a few things.

Larimer County Coroner Confirms Homicide-Suicide

The Larimer County Coroner's office did confirm that the man's cause of death was suicide and the woman died via homicide. Both people did die from gunshot wounds, according to officials.

Neither of the names have been released yet, but the County Coroner's office says that they will share those at a later time.

“This kind of sudden and tragic loss of life leaves a lasting impact on families, friends, and the surrounding community,” said Investigations Captain Bobby Moll.
