New Measles Case Confirmed in Northern Colorado

There has been another reported measles case in Colorado. This time, the measles case has been confirmed in Northern Colorado.

Windsor Measles Exposure Alert from Weld County

Weld County officials have notified the public that there has been a confirmed measles exposure in Windsor. The Colorado Department of Health and Environment is helping and aiding in response to the exposure.

Measles Exposure Location and Time Shared

The person who has measles has not been named, however, Weld County did provide a location and time when others may have been exposed to measles.

The confirmed measles exposure happened at King Soopers in Windsor on Saturday, May 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Weld County officials said that the risk is low, but unvaccinated or immunocompromised residents who may have been exposed should monitor symptoms. Here is what officials said.

All shoppers, regardless of vaccination or immune status, are encouraged to watch for symptoms over the next sixteen days, or until June 20.

13 Confirmed Measles Cases in Colorado So Far

This will be the 13th confirmed measles case in Colorado in 2025. The first in Weld County.

Arapahoe, Archuleta, El Paso, Pueblo, and Denver Counties are the other counties in Colorado that have had confirmed measles cases. Denver County has had the most with four confirmed cases.
