As a country music fan living in Colorado, I have been eagerly waiting for Post Malone to come to town. Following his first country album, F-1 Trillion, Post Malone has seen huge successThe exclusively country album features collaborations with Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw, and more.

Before the release, country music fans were worried that the album would sound country. Post Malone embraced the country lifestyle and the country music community has welcomed him with wide open arms.

I mean, the album went gold before it was even released.

Following the release of the album, Post Malone went on a small tour. The majority of those shows were in the South, and many country fans in Colorado, like me, wondered if Post Malone would ever come to town.

Country Stars React to Post Malone's New Country Music

It's not enough to say country stars are supportive of Post Malone's genre-blending new album. Everyone we asked to react to the new music praised the pop-crossover artist and then took time to explain why.

This isn't polite adulation. Below you'll find honest responses from eight stars who've worked with him or watched as he broached the topic of a country album. They're young and old, progressive and traditional. Unless noted, all quotes came from interviews with Taste of Country.

Being one of the hottest acts in the world right now, it's no surprise that Cheyenne Frontier Days would want him on the stage again this year. Fun fact though, it was Jelly who came to CFD about performing at this year's Daddy of 'em All, and we're sure glad he did because his show was fantastic!

Here are some up-close pix of the man himself... Enjoy!
