With holiday travel quickly approaching, a major change at Denver International Airport is important to know about. This change will also impact every single airport across the country.

Have you ever had a flight that was canceled or delayed for a long period of time? Typically when this happens, an airline would ask if they could give you a voucher for the inconvenience.

The Department of Transportation feels that vouchers are typically unfair to travelers. That is why a new policy has been implemented to make compensating for inconvenience a much more straightforward process. Residents in Colorado are extremely glad that this policy has been put in place.

Types of Refunds in Colorado

There are many reasons why you may now be refunded for your flight. For example, CBS says that you will be refunded for a significant delay. That is for a three-hour delay on flights within the country. If you are flying out of the country, you will receive a refund if you are delayed at least six hours.

Additionally, if your baggage is delayed you will receive a refund. If the flight Wi-Fi is not working, you will be refunded.

Of course, you will be refunded as well if your flight is canceled.

The refund will come directly from the airline and it will be refunded to the payment method you used.
