It's not Earth's birthday, but it's similar. Earth Day is an anniversary date. April 22nd is the anniversary of the environmental movement, which started in 1970.

Earth Day is celebrated around the world in many different ways. Festivals with a focus on recycling, gardening, and buying second-hand items are popular. Trash cleanups are often planned. Some people like to plant trees on Earth Day.
