Marlon Wayans, the funny actor/comedian, got into some trouble recently at Denver International Airport. He and the United team were definitely not seeing "eye-to-eye" on what he needed to do; it didn't go well.

Wayans was on his way out of Denver to do a couple of comedy shows in Kansas City; it's not clear why he was leaving Denver. He is out on tour, perhaps he was in town for some R&R, before heading out again.

Either way, he's probably guessing he hadn't needed to fly out of DIA; definitely not on United Airlines.

Flying can indeed be a struggle: Getting to the airport, dealing with lines, checking in, the people, and of course dealing with your bags. That's where this all began on June 9, 2023, for Marlon Wayans.

According to USA Today, a gate agent for United informed Wayans that only two bags were allowed as carry-ons, but he had three. Wayans cooperated and put all his things into just two bags. Then, according to Wayans, he was told he have to check the bags. In frustration, after feeling he was targeted for his race and status, he grabbed his ticket and tried to rush onto the plane.

By trying to get on the plane in that manner, Wayans was detained by the Denver Police Department; they cited him with Disturbing the Peace. USA Today states that he's due back in Colorado in July to answer charges.

Wayans posted a couple of videos on his Instagram about the incident.
