Loveland, Colorado Has a Great Little Shop Dedicated to Only Saxophones
Colorado is full of people who love not only listening to music but playing music. There's a shop, now in Loveland, that has been around for decades dedicated solely to the sax.
How Many Shops in Colorado Sell Only Saxophones?
It really doesn't seem that you're going to find a shop that is nearly completely all about saxophones and saxophones only in Colorado aside from this one that's now in Loveland. Sure, you'll find places that deal with an assortment of instruments, and maybe a place that deals with all woodwinds, but "sax only," is very rare.
The saxophone dates back to when it was patented by Adolfe Sax in Paris, in 1846. Sax was an instrument maker who wanted to create a instrument that had both the qualities of a woodwind instrument along with those of a brass instrument.

Sax Alley entered its "next 30+" years in 2024 when the the current owner/operators took over the business that had been in operation for 30 years in Windsor by Tim Glesmann. Tim built up a very well respected business in his time, it must have been hard to turn it over to others.

I would think that many would agree that when you're thinking of "instruments" your mind immediately jumps to Guitar Center; which only speaks volumes as to how well Sax Alley treats customers, and those merely interested in saxophones.
From Windsor to Downtown Loveland to East Loveland
While Sax Alley spent its first 30 years in Windsor, the new owners opened up the "new" Sax Alley in Downtown Loveland along Cleveland; then quickly moved the store out to Loveland Yards (next to the Scout Shop.) This location will make it easier for people across Northern Colorado to find them, for sure.
They do sales (including consignments,) service and can set you up with saxophone lessons from professionals. How neat is it that a shop with such a unique "niche" has found so much success in Northern Colorado?
