Popular Colorado Halloween Parade Returns This Weekend
While most might say that Christmas time is the most wonderful time of the year, you can certainly argue that Halloween is. The imaginative costumes, the parties, the trick-or-treating, the haunted attractions, and of course, the snacks!
We have so many fantastic haunted houses and fall attractions around Colorado, but we were today years old when we found out that there's an actual Halloween parade through Colorado's capital city.
It's no tiny parade either as it had an estimated 30,000 people watching last year's parade, which was their 6th annual. This year, after some community fundraising for safety barricades, the popular Halloween parade is back for its sixth year.
The 2024 Broadway Halloween Parade Returns To Denver, Colorado
Taking over the spooky streets of Broadway from 5th Avenue through Alameda, Denver's Broadway Halloween Parade is back for its sixth year this Saturday, October 19th.
What was once a small community parade has rapidly grown each year, with its biggest turnout to date being the 2023 Broadway Halloween Parade, which had roughly 30,000 people packed around the route. If you know the area, 30k is a pretty crazy crowd, and they're expecting even more this year.
You can expect more spooky floats, bands, marchers, magicians, and more, as they get you into the spirit for one of the nation's favorite holidays. The weather for Saturday in Dever only has a high of about 63, so bring a coat and maybe a light blanket, and enjoy this spooky Denver tradition this Saturday at 6 pm!
