As the new year progresses, more and more statistics are released about a wide variety of topics.

One of the most recent findings shows that the United States' favorite grocery chain isn't likely what you'd expect, and although it was reported not too long ago that a bunch of these stores were set to close in 2025, Colorado is still home to plenty of locations.
Colorado is Home to a lot of the Country's Favorite Grocery Chains
When one thinks of grocery chains, large stores like City Market, King Soopers, and Safeway are typically what come to mind.

However, new data shows that as of early 2025, the favored grocery chain in the nation is actually more of a convenience store by nature and that store is 7-11.
Yes, despite releasing an announcement last year about how the convenience store chain was set to close a large number of store locations in 2025, 7-11 has been named the country's favorite grocery chain.
How Much of a Presence Does 7-11 Have in Colorado?
Believe it or not, 7-11 stores only exist in 38 of the country's 50 states and while there are only a couple of locations in Colorado still standing west of the Continental Divide, they do have quite a presence in the Centennial State overall.
In fact, there are nine geographical areas in Colorado with over five 7-11 stores currently operating, and 22 additional regions in the state with anywhere between one and five stores currently in business.
The study suggests that in today's world, Americans prefer instant gratification and convenience, which makes sense that 7-11 tops this year's list.
