Your Kids Will Love Visiting Colorado’s Tiny Town and Railroad
While there are numerous locations all across the state of Colorado that are known for being fun spots to take kids, the small town of Morrison, Colorado is not likely one of the first that parents, especially from out of town, think about.
However, Colorado natives are pretty well aware of the cool things about the small town just west of the Denver metro area.

Obviously, the biggest draw to Morrison is the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, but you'll also find Dinosaur Ridge as well as a unique and kid-friendly attraction known as Tiny Town.
Tiny Town in Morrison Colorado is a Must-See
Located at 6249 S. Turkey Creek Rd. in Morrison, Tiny Town is a fun and affordable attraction that is enjoyed by kids and parents alike.
While the name might suggest that this mock town is small, it's actually quite large considering the countless miniature buildings that you'll find there.
Like most towns, Tiny Town has a post office, library, school, church, and other staples of any small town.
However, Tiny Town goes a step further being home to a Harley Davidson dealership, a boarding house, an old-timey saloon, a windmill, and a lighthouse, to name a few.
In addition, Tiny Town features a railroad and during the warmer months, offers rides on the miniature train all across the miniature town.
As you'll see below, Tiny Town would make for an excellent place to stop in for some fun during a warm, summer day in Colorado:
